Convergys Corporation, a global leader in relationship management, is now the largest business process provider in Cebu with over 3,300 employees throughout three contact center facilities in the city. On hand to dedicate Convergys Cebu i3 contact center is Cebu Governor, the Honorable Gwendolyn Garcia, Cebu Acting Mayor, the Honorable Mike Rama, and Convergys Chief Information Officer, Jim Goetz.
In a short period of three months, Convergys has also announced the opening of its UPAyala Land TechnoHub facility in Metro Manila and the Nuvali TechnoHub facility in Santa Rosa , Laguna.
These new Convergys contact centers will all be officially dedicated today from the Nuvali TechnoHub facility simultaneously by President Gloria MacapagalArroyo, Convergys President and CEO Dave Dougherty, and other senior executives in attendance.
Employees and gathered dignitaries can witness the dedications of Convergys newest facilities on huge television screens showing simultaneous feeds from all three facilities via satellite transmission.
The new, stateoftheart Cebu i3 contact center, encompassing over 50,000 square feet, holds approximately 1,000 employees. The facility, which features a unique, builtin recruitment center, is conveniently located near the Cebu Business Park and local colleges and universities in Metro Cebu.

Within five years, Convergys has established 12 contact centers in the Philippines seven located in Metro Manila, three in Cebu City, one in Bacolod City, and one in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
These facilities include the new sites Convergys announced it was opening in May of 2008: Cebu Asiatown i3, UP Science Park , Nuvali, San Lazaro, and Glorietta.
