In order to streamline its BPO services, 3i Infotech, an IT solutions provider has established 3i Infotech BPO, its wholly owned subsidiary. The subsidiary would enable us to offer the complete range of business process services to our clients and leverage the growth opportunity in BPO, which is experiencing a new upsurge of activity in the domestic market, said Anirudh Prabhakaran, Executive Director and President, South Asia, 3i Infotech.
With a total contribution of Rs 2,300 crore, the companys BPO services contributed one-third of the total revenues in 2008-09.
According to 3i Infotech, the BPO subsidiary will render end-to-end business process services to the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) and telecom companies in the domestic market. The BPO services are spread across more than 200 cities in India with a total workforce of nearly 7000 employees.
By using the hub and spoke model, 3i Infotech BPO will offer a wide range of services viz. origination and data processing, payroll, finance and accounting, staffing and HR services, customer relationship management, registrar and transfer agency services, payment and cheque processing, receivables management.
