Cognizant Technology Solutions, a US based provider of IT and Business Process Outsourcing BPO services, has announced a multi year, multi million dollar engagement with Merck and Co for an undisclosed value.
Cognizant, which has majority of its employees working in India, will extend its existing relationship with the pharmaceutical company to become a key technology partner and provide full range of services. This includes software application outsourcing, IT infrastructure management and BPO services, according to a Cognizant press release. Cognizant will extend its existing relationship with Merck, dating back to 2005, to become a key technology partner and provide a full suite of services.
